Small lots, big glass
A lot of CdM is being rebuilt as modern homes with floor-to-ceiling glass and black aluminum frames, often on narrow lots with tight side yards. These homes are beautiful, and they show every water spot. We plan access, ladders and water-fed poles around tight setbacks and neighbors, and park and stage so we don’t block narrow streets.
Bluff homes vs. the Village
Homes on the bluff above Big Corona, Little Corona and Inspiration Point get salt spray straight off the water, so the ocean-facing glass hazes over quickly. In the Village and Flower Streets, the bigger issue is shade. Damp walls and side yards grow mildew under the marine layer, and sprinklers spot the lower glass.
