Bayfront and harbor glass
Homes on Linda Isle, Harbor Island, Lido, Bayshores and the island bayfronts look straight at the water and the boats on it. The harbor-facing glass collects salt film, gull droppings and the general grime of a working harbor. Glass doors to the dock see the most hands and the most salt.
Sand in the tracks
On the Peninsula and Balboa Island, wind off the beach pushes sand into tracks and screens, and sliders start to drag. We clean tracks, screens and sills on every visit, so the doors slide freely as well as look clean.
Back Bay, Port Streets and the hills
Further from the surf, in Dover Shores, Westcliff, Eastbluff, the Port Streets and up toward Big Canyon and Spyglass Hill, there’s less salt and more dust and sprinkler spotting. Lower panes facing the garden usually need hard-water spot treatment. A pure-water rinse keeps new spots from forming.
How often to clean in Newport
Waterfront homes usually do best monthly, and homes further inland quarterly. Most clients pair window service with an annual house wash.
